Student & Class

Information

 

All students will start their scheduled day beginning Wednesday, September 8th. Make up classes are available for all students at any time during the dance year. Other then the scheduled holidays listed, all classes missed due to illness or studio snow closings must be made up by the student. Time missed by the student will not be deducted from your monthly tuition. See Jeannette or one of the teachers for your class make up days & times.

 

 

 

Class Dancewear & Shoes

 

Starting Monday, October 4th, students are required to wear dance clothes. Please no street clothes, jeans, etc.. and if  hair is long it must be pulled off the face. For the safety of the children, no jewelry should be worn to class. There are no restrictions on shoes or dance clothes as far as color or style for all classes except the Pre-Pointe , Pointe, Hip Hop classes. These students are to speak to Jeannette or teachers as to the required dance wear and shoes for those classes. All students that can not tie their shoes must have their shoes secured with elastic or can purchase a pair of tap shoes ties from the studio. Shoe order & Dancewear forms are available at the studio. We recommend that all new students wait a few weeks before purchasing shoes just in case your child does not like the class.

If you did not get the DVD of the 2009 Recital, they are still available. Orders can still be placed. See Jeannette or one of the teachers for the DVD order form. Checks should be made out to Bradley Video Productions.

Studio Holidays

The studio will be closed the following days:

Thanksgiving Day - Thursday, November 25th & Friday November 26th

Winter Break -  December 24, 2010 - January 2, 2011

Spring Break - TBA at a later date

Memorial Day Weekend - Saturday, May 28th & Monday, May 30, 2010

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Registration & Billing Information

 

 

 Registration will be held Thursday, August 12th and Tuesday, August 17th from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the studio. The discounted registration fee is $10.00 per student and $15.00 per family prior to 8/13. After 8/13 the fee will be $15.00 per child and $20.00 per family. Classes are limited so if a particular class is needed please register by mail early. You may also register on line at the website.

 

The ten month fee is based on the total classes & recital rehearsals scheduled over the entire dance year from September thru June. Tuition is due each month during the first week of classes. During the last week of each month, tuition statements & newsletters for the following month is given out except June which will be combined with the May statement. If a student is absent during that week, the statement will be mailed to your home. Please call if you do not receive your statement so that we can check into it. All students that begin taking classes after September 2010, (October through March) will have a higher monthly payment schedule than the one on the enclosed registration form...even if they are registered prior to October 1st. Billing questions can be directed to the studio by phone or email billing@jeannettesdanceschool.com . If you need another schedule for payment other than monthly please contact us. If a student starts classes after the first class of the month, tuition will be charged for the entire month and those classes missed will need to be made up.

 

 

No adjustments will be made to tuition ( NO EXCEPTIONS ). There is a no refund policy on all tuition & costume payments. A $15.00 late fee will apply for all tuition payed after the 15th of each month. A return check fee of $20.00 will be added for any checks returned to us from the bank. Tuition receipts will not be given out unless you request one. Parents, if you send in cash please request a receipt from the teacher.

 

Any student not registered for class as of 1/15/11 will not be eligible to participate in the recital.
